History and Principles.

Digital Da Vinci was founded in 2004 by Adam Steinhardt. It was in his role of Managing Director and Founder of Next Byte that Steinhardt saw the increasing convergence of information technology and creative services, and how business can benefit from both these intertwined skill sets. Adam Steinhardt has an extensive business entrepreneur background, based on a highly competitive sporting career that saw him twice represent Australia at the Commonwealth Games in challenging discipline of Pole Vaulting, jumping over 18ft (5.51m) narrowly missing the Olympic Games.

As Managing Director and founder of Next Byte Adam Steinhardt took a business from inception to a $70 million turnover company, that was ranked as the number 1 Apple Reseller in Australia.

When leaving to start Digital Da Vinci in July 2005 he retired from Next Byte With 15 locations around Australia in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Perth.

In just 3 years Next Byte grew from a small one person back office in Norwood SA to Australias #1 Apple Reseller. 

As the Managing Director of 140 people, Steinhardt led Next Byte to a number of significant achievements including placing 13^th in the BRW Fast 100 in 1999. On leaving, Next Byte was (and still is)  Australias most awarded and acclaimed Apple Reseller ever.

In the 10 years of growing this business, Steinhardt with Next Byte took on and conquered many of the challenges small businesses face, in starting up, being successful (and unsuccessful) and transitioning to national expansion and becoming a medium-large business. Along the way Steinhardt led Next Byte through mergers, acquisitions, and Australia wide expansion gaining a wealth of knowledge.

Specialising in sales and marketing his unique training methods and innovative use of technology had Next Byte rewriting the standards for privately owned computer retailers in Australia.
